You have no idea how much this reminds me of the 'desert' arrangement of the SSBB theme from Subspace. XD Especially toward the beginning, it deviates a lot from that over time.
I enjoyed it. Yeah. Cool chord progressions!

To put things in perspective, the alternative was getting up from my computer and cleaning the bathroom.

Ta much!  It was sort of a fun little exercise in me taking an extremely simple melody that popped into my head and seeing what different chords I could attach to it.

It's called "Subspace Emissary ~ Plains" in my soundtrack and is track 273. I really think it was the desert flute thingy (what is that, anyway) and the part that it played that really reminded me of that, though. The actual track has more guitar and stuff.

Oh? I thought the shaku was the Japanese flute. I guess they are one and the same. Silly me.
