I was going to call it The Unofficial "Find Out Whether Blank Really Has an Alter-Ego on the Forums or Whether He's Just Screwing With Me" Thread, but you can't make titles that long...
I'm going to need Shadow Blade the Detective's help on this one!
Anyway, I've compiled a list of members. I've removed members whom I know Blank's alter ego can't be from the list, put asterisks next to people I suspect, and put hyphens/minus signs next to the usernames whom it is unlikely—but still possible—that he is. I then organized them based on category (likely, unlikely, or neutral).

you're really dumb
blank is blank, no one else; although it's possible he has a joke account, he is clearly not another one of our regular members
why am I not punctuating ends of sentences or capitalizing first letters

Okay, seriously, Blank's been around way longer than I have (as have most people). He is no one else in the main category of members. Although it's possible he could be a joke account (i.e. Capt Obvious, Alternate Reality Sam, etc), I promise he's no one else. Geez, that's stupid. Just trust us here.
I am amazed you seem to compare me and Blank! Are we that similar? I never thought about it.
Tommy is a chum of some other people here at the forum (I can't remember which group it is at the moment). He is newer than me, even.
Lunaria Sangrael? What the hell? That's a friend of Kevin's wife.
Kevin knows CM in real life.
SB and Fragmentor... just... no. How can you even compare them to Blank?
Uberbucket is CM's joke account.
Tinytim is another older member. He has relatives who go here.
Does it help that Blank has a Facebook? Thus clearly separating him from everyone else? There shouldn't even be a *need* to debunk this; it's absurd.
EDIT: Since you posted... Didn't I already say to never take Blank seriously? Oh, right, I forgot, you suck at interpreting everything we say. Lern2sarcasm and lern2jokes.

Yeah, the only reason Lunaria is up there (and believe me, it's a stupid reason) is that I saw Blank use an Lunaria emoticon once. I should probably move Lunaria from "suspects" to "neutral."

It personifies him as an individual?
You don't need a picture to determine something; personality is at least somewhat evident in posts. It's not 100% fakeable.
With regard to pictures, there's no need to pressure people into posting them. There have been party pix of CM before but even if I tried to find them I *don't* think he'd appreciate it.

I was ignoring this, but now I can't. Why the hell are you still seriously considering this? For a start, Tommy's my friend. If he makes a joke on the forums just to mess with you, he usually shares it with me. One of the things he has definitely not said to me is "Hey, I have to tell you I already had an account called Blank four years before I was introduced to the forum." So you can strike that name off the list.
I can't be bothered to debunk the others. Just... this is silly. |
