Irish folksy rock-type music. I put The Dropkick Murphys into Pandora so that's the reason why. I like it.

Which leads naturally enough to: THE POGUES.

It's like folk music but with swearing.

Ah yeah, Animals is my favourite Floyd record as it happens, but I'm probably in a minority there. It's just so delightfully vindictive, I love it...

Ahah, snap! Perhaps the most under-rated of their albums (apart from Obscurred By Clouds)- but some of the best playing and writing they ever did as a group. Especially the drumming on Dogs and the guitar work on Sheep. Beats The Wall any day of the week! Very Happy

Come on, people now, people now
People now, come on, people now
Got to drive hybrids, people now
Come on now, people now, people now
Hybrids are for people now, people now
Good for people driving people now
Get a hybrid, be good people now.
We have all got to be people now
People driving hybrid people now
People now, people now, hybrid now
Hybrid people driving people now
Come on people, let's be people now
Hybrid people driving people now
Come on, everybody, be people now.

---

What a gay little song.

EDIT:
Now I'm listening to "Chrometaphor" by Gridlock. I think this is my favorite IDM song ever.

Weird Al - "Ringtone".

I can't stop listening to this (or singing it when I'm away from a computer). It's simply far too catchy.

They're all pretty excellent, tbqh.

(Just ask yourself, do you want my styrofoam peanuts?)

That said, my track of the moment (or track o' th'mo') is Richard Cheese's cover of "Down with the Sickness".

It's not bad to like Lady Gaga songs as performed by hot geeky musician girls on Youtube, though.

She makes me actually like that song.

I still don't think the song is that great, but that stylophone thing is ten kinds of awesome.

EDIT: now I'm listening to "Invaders Must Die" by The Prodigy. It gets me pumped, nomesayin'?
