I think it's time we paid tribute to one of our favorite inanimate objects, the pile of gold bricks. Piles of gold bricks have been shining on our world for a long time, never asking for anything in return. But now, I am very pleased to award the pile of gold bricks a gold medal:

I realize that the pile of gold bricks never actually won the Olympiad, but that is beside the point.
Stay gold, Pile-boy.
